Encore by Dr. Michael Wright

---

Encore Project is the ministry initiative of Dr. Michael W. Wright, created to help pastorless churches in crisis pursue biblical renewal, faithful replanting, and a hopeful future. Many churches possess a meaningful history but face an uncertain path forward because of pastoral vacancies, declining attendance, aging membership, financial pressure, deteriorating facilities, or a diminishing presence in their communities.

These congregations often love Christ and desire to remain faithful, yet lack the leadership, resources, and trusted partnerships necessary to move forward. Encore Project comes alongside churches during these vulnerable seasons to help them honestly assess their condition, prayerfully discern God’s direction, and courageously take their next faithful step.

The name Encore expresses a simple but powerful conviction: the final song has not yet been sung. God can renew his people, restore his witness, and bring new life from places of decline. An encore is not an attempt to repeat the past, but an opportunity to embrace a new season of ministry with renewed faith, clarified purpose, and wholehearted dependence upon God.

Encore Project is grounded in the conviction that Jesus Christ builds his Church. Every church has a story, and some have reached a moment when that story must change if their gospel witness is to continue. Encore exists to help them discern what faithfulness requires—and to walk beside them as God writes what comes next.
